I picked up some wonderful new art supplies from my local Curry’s art store the other day. For me, being in an art store is like being in a candy store – it’s so incredibly hard to hold back! I love all the colours, I want to try all the different mediums and there is always something new and different that just came out that I haven’t tried yet. I’m sure all artists would agree, it’s always a fun time.
This visit was a little tame for me in comparison to other times!! I stuck more to my ‘tried and true’, the colours that I love to use and had run out of recently in both acrylic and watercolour. I did find some interesting new stencils and also a new vibrant pink in watercolour from Da Vinci paints that I hadn’t tried, so I am looking forward to some experimenting too!
Although, the art store is where the dreaming begins once you get home with the bag of goodies the fun can really start!
