This is my newest piece that came about as I worked intuitively with layers of acrylic paint, tissue paper, cheesecloth, molding paste, stencils, stamps and tin foil. Eventually the shape of a Griffin appeared to me on the canvas and I went with it.
The painting is currently on display at CJ’s Cafe in Bronte (2416 Lakeshore Rd. W, Oakville) as part of the show “The Beginnings of Fusion”. The show runs until August 4th.
